The Friday after Thanksgiving is usually one of the biggest shopping days of the year, with people often lining up at 5 a.m. to get the best sales.
In line with this, Tanger Outlets is getting a leap on the busiest shopping day of the year.General manager, Nancy Gray announced earlier this week that the mall will host its third-annual "Midnight Madness" event starting at 12:00 a.m. Nov. 28.
Participating stores are offering sales of 20 to 50 percent off to get people out to Tanger for holiday shopping. The first 300 shoppers will receive free stuff from Tanger.
The mall begins its "Early Bird" sale at 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. and then at 5 p.m. it will begin a "Night Owl" sale until closing. The "Early Bird" and "Night Owl" offers will also be available Saturday during the same times. All day Sunday is a "Big Outlet" sale.
